The ANSI-HSSP Global Supply Chain Security Standards Workshop and Annual Plenary Meeting will be held on September 12, 2012 – September 13, 2012, and will take a close look at the current landscape as well as standardization needs and solutions for global supply chain security in the U.S. and internationally. A Keynote speaker will provide an overview of the national strategy for global supply chain security and its development.
Public- and private-sector experts will then present specific perspectives on international policy, U.S. federal programs and private sector programs. Anti-counterfeiting measures will also be addressed, along with standards and conformance solutions. Roundtable sessions will enable significant attendee participation and contribution to the discussions. The HSSP annual plenary meeting will also take place in conjunction with the Workshop. The ANSI-HSSP Plenary provides the unique opportunity for the homeland security, emergency preparedness, and business continuity communities (public sector, private sector and standards developing organizations) to come together to discuss current issues and challenges, strategic approaches, recent successes, and future outlooks. All ANSI and ANSI-HSSP members, constituents, and other interested stakeholders are welcome to attend. The meeting will take place at the FHI 360 Conference Center (1825 Connecticut Avenue, NW, 8th Floor – Academy Hall, Washington, DC). Attendance is free of charge, but all attendees must register by August 31, 2012, as space is limited. For more information or to register, please visit the event page.
