Professional Development Training
NASPO INTERNATIONAL Professional Development Training for security industry professionals. The mission of this training is to support security providers in their efforts to assure a high level of risk management within their organizations. The courses are led by industry professionals from members of NASPO INTERNATIONAL and include interactive learning. Individuals who should be interested in the training are Chief Security Officers (CSO), risk managers, facility managers, security managers, executives and operation managers—those involved with the security assurance their company’s facilities and certification.
NASPO INTERNATIONAL Certified Security Professional, NICSP.
Requirements to be certified under the NICSP Program
- Complete PDT 101 –103 in Classroom at RIT
- Complete PDT 104 online
- Complete PDT 105 The Final Exam (online) with a passing grade (80%).
Requirements to retain your NICSP Certification
- Every 3 years—take a continuing education course offered by NASPO
- Or, Retake the Final Exam and make a passing grade of 80%
- Evidence of participating in two security industry training classes or teach an industry class on security.
