This standard was approved and published July 2, 2015. It is the updated version of the 2013 ANSI/NASPO.

- Companies or governments agencies interested in specifying the NASPO certification in tenders.
- Security industry organizations involved in promoting the concept of security assurance standards.
- NASPO members or prospective NASPO members.
