NASPO is seeking Consensus Body Participants,
Date: May 27, 2014
To fulfill ANSI requirements the North American Security Products Organization (NASPO) must undertake an immediate revision of the ANSI/NASPO Security Assurance Standard SA 2013. The issues that must be addressed include those concerning commercial terms and conditions. We will also address the order of the requirements established in the standard to meet the current process of risk assessment prior to the establishment of the risk treatment. We do not expect this revision to have a significant effect on the existing requirements.
A revised draft of the standard has been created to expedite the process. The draft contains the proposed necessary changes to the language in the standard.
Meetings will be primarily conducted through teleconference and online conferences.
David Brown (Intel) has again agreed to Chair the NASPO National Standards Committee, and Mike O’Neil will be serving as Project Leader.
We are seeking consensus body participants for this expedited review process.
Please contact Mike O’Neil (mikeo@naspo.info) if you wish to participate on this committee.
